My designs express the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. I aim to uncover the beauty of imperfection in each piece by combining textures, oxidizing surfaces, and forging irregular forms. A great part of my Aesthetic is influenced by my Japanese inheritance and the idea of Wabi-sabi: a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
